With her new album "Kiss" dropping on September 18th, Carly Rae Jepsen scored herself a feature in the October 2012 issue of Glamour magazine.
Coordinating her bright blue nail polish with her patterned pants, the 26-year-old singer gazed at the camera with parted red lips while dishing about everything from all the "Call Me Maybe" spoof videos to her sense of style.
On "Call Me Maybe" imitation videos:
"Yes. I remember seeing the YouTube spoof with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Ashley Tisdale and thinking, That looks a lot like Justin Bieber—oh my gosh, that is him!"
On dealing with pressure to be healthy:
"My mom taught me how to treat my body with respect, to be grateful I have two arms and two legs. Your health is the most important thing."
On her style:
"Pop meets folk. I love combining hippie vintage stuff with chic things. And I can't live without MAC lipstick, especially Lady Danger—it's the perfect red. It dresses you up in two seconds flat."
